You can visit the Ngorongoro Conservation Area all year round. The dry season begin from June to October which attract more tourists for wildlife viewing experience. Wet season begin from November to May and the areas featured with lush green landscapes with fairly good wild animal disparsal; thi is the time with less visitors to the Area. From December to April is the best time to witness the wildebeest migration in Ndutu Area as it is a calving season before the migration keep on moving to the Serengeti National Park.

Ngorongoro Crater
A giant volcanic Caldera hosting over 25,000 different species of wild mammals include the famous Big Five. With diverse habitats the crater floor is covered by soda lake, forest, water springs and open grasslands; all inhabited by a good number of different species of wild animals.

Ndutu Plains
Ndutu Plains is among the vast short grass area in the Ngorongoro bordering Serengeti National Part to the southern part. It is a wildebeest’s calving ground from December to April, home of predators and other resident wildlife that can easily be seen all year round to the Area.
