Tarangire National Park is famous for its giant Baobab trees and big heard of African Elephants per square kilometer compared to other protected areas in Tanzania and Africa. It is a beautiful park with authentic landscapes making it a home to more than 500 bird species and the common Tarangire river which is an important source of water. The ark is found about 120km from Arusha City. With its different wildlife habitats, the park offer unforgettable wildlife safari experiences due to the presence of a good number of wildlife include predators such as lion, leopard, cheetah and wild dog. Tarangire is accessible all year round by road and air. It takes almost 2 hours’ drive to rich the park by tarmac road from Arusha city.

Wet season begin from March to June while dry season begin from July to February. Both wet season and dry season offer different experience since from wet season the area covered by green color with number of wild animals and dry season the area become dry with abundance of wild animals.

Early morning and late afternoon drives are the best times for sightings.
