ABOUT TANZANIA
TANZANIA is a developing country in Africa located in the East Africa. With a total area of about 945,087 square kilometers including 61.000sq.km of the inland water and a total surface area of about 2,461sq.km of Zanzibar.
About 43.7% of its total land is dedicated to protected areas that includes the famous Serengeti National Park (the endless plain) with over 1.5 million of wildebeest migrating to cover about 450.000 squire kilometers of the whole Serengeti Mara Eco-system, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (Ngorongoro Crater), Mount Kilimanjaro National Park, (the roof of Africa), Nyerere National Park and Selous Game Reserve. Most of the protected areas in Tanzania are the home for the famous BIG FIVE land mammals.
The country is having more than 120 different tribes making it rich in culture diversity incomparably to any other African countries; Tanzania harbors a wide range of natural, cultural, and historical resources from rare gems (TANZANITE), minerals, immense number of Wild floral and fauna, and extensive beaches of Zanzibar islands in the Indian Ocean which is an ideal for water sports lovers.
