MARCH – MAY
This is a rainy season, whereby all the area turns green and the landscapes are amazing, it is a low season with few tourists; so, most of the parks are not busy and the prices for safari is more convincing.
JUNE – OCTOBER
This is the beginning of dry season, just after the end of heavy rain season, most parts of the country look green and inside the parks the distribution of wild animals is fairly good. This is the high season in Tanzania with abundance of tourists interesting to explore the wildlife especially big five and the wildebeest migration during the crossing rivers in the Serengeti. From July through October is sunny especially at the lower altitude though at the highlands like Ngorongoro Crater the weather can still be a bit cold.
NOVEMBER – DECEMBER TO FEBRUARY
The short rain begin which may run up to mid-December to some parts of the country, this turns the landscape into evergreen with a view to remember. This is the moment the wildebeest migration begin to approach the south plains of Serengeti and Ndutu plains within Ngorongoro ready to begin the calving season from February to April.
